Christine Kiruthu-Kamamia MPH, BSC
Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Advisor
Christine has a B.Sc in Chemistry from University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an M.P.H in Epidemiology from George Washington University. Christine has over 10 years’ experience working in public health data analysis and program evaluation.
More recently, Christine just completed the USG Presidential Management Fellowship where she spent some time working at the State Department Office of Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy. Christine has worked in various research projects ranging from HIV to cancer including HIV-associated cancers based in the USA, Africa and Asia. It has been Christine’s passion to work in strengthening the health care system in Africa. As the Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Technical Advisor, Christine plans supports and strengthens Lighthouse objectives with program evaluation and research capacity.
Christine joined the Lighthouse team in November 2018 through the International Training and Educational Center for Health (ITECH) in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington School of Medicine and School of Public Health. Christine is a Kenyan-American and very excited to work at Lighthouse in the Warm Heart of Africa.
